Jacques was a prolific illustrator and her archive contains copies of all the books she illustrated, by some of Britains best known childrens authors including Henry Treece, Philippa Pearce, Nina Bawden, Leon Garfield, Ursula Moray Williams, Roald Dahl and Alan Ahlberg. She was also a prolific correspondent who copied and filed everything she wrote and received which has resulted in an archive of more than a thousand letters to agents editors and the writers with whom she worked. The archive also includes 200 drafts of illustrations, mostly in pen and ink. Grant from the Philip Larkin Fund. Illustrated at p.33 of AR
