One of only two multi-volume works known to have been bound by Scott, arguably the finest bookbinder ever to have worked in Scotland. Each volume is uniformly bound in Scotts early red morocco style, with the monogram tooled in gold on a green morocco oval onlay surrounded by an oval tool made up of 49 small shells
