Amongst the collection are 31 letters dating from 1810 -12 between Mary and William Wordsworth, an early copy of the poem addressed to Sara Hutchinson by Coleridge published as Dejection: an Ode in the hand of MW and letters from Dorothy concerning the illness and death of the Wordsworths daughter Catherine. There is also an important series of letters from Wordsorth forming a journal of his London visit in 1837
