A series of nine account books, complementing the large collection of Corbett family estate papers already held at the Record Office. Archdeacon Joseph Plymley, later Corbett, on his inheritance of the Longnor estate, was meticulous in the detail with which he recorded his household expenses, and consequently the accouns provide a vivid image of the concerns and interests of a country squire in the early 19th century
