A uniquely important group of designs for tablewares produced by the Derby Factory, containing nearly 400 designs for plates and nearly 750 designs for cups. The pattern books are highly significant in terms of Britains industrial and design history since no other large set of designs has survived from any other English 18th century porcelain factory. They are an essential source material for students of Derby porcelain.
