Four charters of confirmation by the Bishops of Coventry and Lichfield of the appropriation by the Abbey of churches and chapels in Cheshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire, dated 1277, 1282, 1316 and 1456. The charter of 1282 has a fine impression of the episcopal seal of Roger Longspee; that of 1316 a rather more battered impression of the seal of Walter Langton
