The missal is an illuminated manuscript from the 14th-15th century containing instructions and texts necessary for the celebration of Mass
throughout the year.

Bought at the Meade Falkner sale; illustrated as plate X of FNL Annual Report 1932. 

In 2018, the missal was digitised thanks to a grant from Friends of the National Libraries, so that all can now enjoy and study this wonderful manuscript.
