Compiled over a period of about 50 years by at least six scribes at St Mary's Abbey, York. The MS has three sections, a miscellanea including the Anglo-Norman poem Des Grauntz Geaunts; a Brut chronicle in French up to 1333 and the Anonimalle Chronicle. This last contains the best account known of the Peasants' Revolt in London. Purchased by the Brotherton Library, Leeds University.
