Manuscript letters from the archive of the Molyneux family of Teversal

For the most part this archive comprises letters from John Holles third Duke of Newcastle and Thomas Pelham Holles, 4th Duke, to Sir Francis Molyneux. Most of the letters concern the official business of the county from the period when the Dukes were successive Lord Lieutenants and Sir Francis their Deputy - they were actively involved in supressing Roman Catholicism
