Contains notes on Jean Cavalier, leader of the Protestant Camisards of the Cvennes in their revolt against Louis XIV after the revocatin of the Edict of Nantes. RLS had intended to write a novel on this subject but the ideas in this notebook were never fully developed. Also contains an early draft of The Spaewife, published in Underwoods Magazine in 1887
