7000 volumes, many of them annotated by Liddell Hart , which were used to form the nucleus of the Centre for Military Archives at Kings College. Also included 270 feet of shelving containing personal papers and correspondence and a further 80 feet of shelves containing a collection of press cuttings on military affairs
