One leaf from The Descent of Man and six from Insectivorous Plants. The leaf from The Descent is in the hand of an amanuensis but has corrections in Darwins hand. It was his practise to reuse paper and this passage is written on the back of the autograph draft of a letter. The pages from Insectivorous Plants are entirely autograph with many alterations. On the verso of these leaves is an article entitled Breeds and Breeding, intended for an encyclopaedia, but it seems to have remained unpublished
