Kohler Collection of books and manuscripts by and about Charles Darwin

This comprehensive collection, assembled over 20 years, comprises 1,628 printed works by Darwin (including first English editions of all titles and many foreign language editions); c. 1,700 books on evolutionary theory, criticism and counter theories; and 152 letters by or to Darwin and others of his circle (including Alfred Russel Wallace, Charles Lyell, Joseph Hooker, T H Huxley, Sir Richard Owen, William Buckland, W Murchison and Asa Gray).
