A good day to day account of the Earl of Lindseys expedition to relieve the Hugenot defenders of La Rochelle. Purchased with The Journal of Jeremy Roch 1665-92 a naval captain who had many adventures including shipwreck and capture by French privateers. He gives account of his service in the second Dutch War and in a second period of service of his transportation of troops to Ireland. He was present at the Four Days Battle and the St Jamess Day Fight and gives sketches of the action
