A collection of Civil War pamphlets, broadsides and letters which were all sent to David Pennant in his capacity as High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1642 and preserved by him. 14 of the pamphlets are accompanied by letters bearing the signature of Charles I requesting the Sheriff to disperse the copies in the towns and markets of the county
