Records of Argal Manor and Helston

The Argal Manor papers cover a wide range of documents, including estate maps, deeds, leases, a Penryn Borough document from 1498 and the Gweek Coal papers of the 19th century. The archive contains the records of the Hill family of Trenethick in Wendron and Carwythenack in Constantine and a considerable number of documents relating to the Cornish mining industry, tin, copper, arsenic, smelting and the manufacture of alkali.
