Contains an endpaper and two pastedowns which are a page from Lauds from an hitherto unrecorded Primer, 6 pages of an hitherto unrecorded edition of a work entitled Christian prayers and meditacions upon the Epistles of saint Paule to the Romains with the undated imprint of John Wyer

This group of deeds forms virtually all the known muniments of title of this small Augustinian House

Over 400 pre-Dissolution charters and deeds, including the foundation charter granted by Thurstan Archbishop of York in 1132. Collection follows the changing fortunes and ownership of the lands down to the late 18th century, by which time it was owned by Lord Grantham ambassador in Madrid.

Important deeds relating to the now vanished village of Holts, have added interest because of their seals

The deeds centre on Richard Tottell and Richard Grafton his brother-in-law and refer to land transactions in Buckinghamshire

1500 documents in this collection date from before 1550 with much topographical information and too much [sic] about the medieval glass industry in Staffordshire. Also 12 volumes collected in 19th century for Lord Bagot relating to the medieval Stafford family who became Dukes of Buckingham, to whom Bagot was related

The 20 aquatint plates have been replaced with 23 wash drawings of which 3 were unpublished. These drawings appear to derive from Gilpins watercolour sketch book and are the originals from which the published plates were made

400 items, financial papers relating to the amalgamation in 1894 and the early development of this bicycle manufacturing firm, plus title deeds to the area of land where the factory was built
